We make meetings every new year where we represent our organization and possibilities to students, how they can be involved in our activities. We are also organizing conferences where we discuss important themes from our history, culture,... We are engaging students to make effort in their studying process by giving opportunity to have their own work get published. Also we often go to the university to talk with students about their future decisions they will have to make for their studies in the future.
:) It is a hard work. I am trying to show them the purpose of participating in our projects. The results are amazing. After they were involved into a project or into a campaign they want to do it again and again.
Through our actions we are getting in contact with new people. After the contact is made young people, who are interested to work with us get all the information about our program fields, the aims of the projects and then they can choose tho one they feel like would suit them best.

All events are participatory: for e.g. planning. And our clubs are participatory: for e.g. you can come there beforehand and participate in decoration. Or much more if you want! We have also Uusien ilta, an event for newcomers: we present ourselves, tell how you can take part in our events. We are informal collective and our decision structure is anti-hierarchical. We have the idea that it would be the best way to get people involved but sometimes people find this difficult because they are not used to anti-hierarchical structures and decision making process.
I have a big motivation for making projects and I also motivate my friends and schoolmates to participate in it. We talk about it and try to improve our idea. Our organization is supporting us and provides us with everything we need. They are open minded and willing to answer on all of our questions. Also they are organizing many seminars about non formal education which is really helpful for all the people, including us who are volunteers. All of the members of my organization are great motivators, coaches and also our friends.

I talk with our young people about theirs needs. Than we discuss which activities are important for them. After that we are going to the theatres, synagogues, museums or discuss about their problems or expectation...
We try to motivate and activate young people by offering them space and possibilities for new experiences, and to come together on their own terms, and support their own ideas in their needs through our knowledge, skills and attitudes as youth workers, trainers and volunteers. We approach young people as individuals, that are able to become active part of their own communities by themselves, when offered the right circumstances.
