YOUTH 2020 - The position of young people in Slovenia

Young people, family, and intergenerational mindsets  261 hand, the group of young people with very good relations with their par- ents is strengthening, and at the same time the group of young people with very bad relations with their parents is strengthening. If in some previousMladina (Youth) studies in Slovenia it was possible to talk about the disappearance of intergenerational conflict (Ule and Miheljak, 1995), based on our data, as well as on the data of the Slovenian Youth Survey 2018/2019 (Kuhar and Hlebec, 2019), it is possible to talk about the end of this trend and in a certain segment even about increasingly conflictive relationships with parents.
